This body of work is based on the limitations of found sources. I incorporate cropping, borders, fading, distortions, blurring  and other inaccuracies from the found images into the painting. The series investigates the efficacy of various modes of sharing information and how those systems of dissemination can degrade the integrity of the original. The flower paintings posit that poor quality reproductions constitute a new work of art related to, but distinct from the original.
